TORUS

The sound of someone moaning woke him up. Torus opened his eyes in the dark room, feeling disoriented at first. Like all Kindred, he could see quite well in the dark, but he still felt confused. Where was he and what was going on? Also, what smelled so good?

Like a female in heat, he thought groggily.

The moaning came again and the voice was familiar. Everything came flooding back to him and he turned to see Molly writhing in the bed beside him. Her eyes were tightly shut—the long lashes like delicate fans on her high cheekbones—and she was thrashing and crying out as though she was in pain.

Torus frowned—was she still asleep?

“Molly? Sweetheart?” He put a hand on her shoulder. “Little bird?”

“Torus!” Her eyes flew open and the pain and need he saw in them tore at his heart.

“Sweetheart, what’s wrong?” he asked her, already knowing the answer.

Molly shook her head.

“Don’t know. I feel so…so empty inside! Down there.” She pointed to the place between her legs and Torus saw that her silky green nightdress had been raised above her hips and the panties he’d been sure she was wearing earlier had somehow disappeared, leaving her soft little pussy bare.

“Sweetheart, I really don’t think that’s going to be possible,” he said carefully.

As soon as he spoke the words, he could feel her disbelief and hear her thinking,
